American Montessori Society accreditation & WA Licensed candidate, utilizing three-site classrooms (including the Garden) our Montessori ABAR daily practices are actively engaged in social-emotional individual and teamwork group Inclusion and Equity foundational practices, w/ exposure to Equity-Respect-Makers monthly units and daily kindness practices supported by caring educators. Klahanie School preserves the love of learning developed by students, offering a trusting side-by-side learning environment for cultural celebrations, exploration freedom to develop at each learning level in prepared, intentional environments. Individualized, side-by-side learning engagement with each student is provided. Joyful education moments are offered through daily movement, music, imaginative play, language introductions, onsite & expanded sciences, and monthly moments w/ monthly Specialists. Families are supported with consistent communications-resources, x2 annual conferences, and family community opportunities.
